There is so much to do and see in Midland! Here is just a sample of what our community has to offer: 

• Alden B. Dow Creativity Center - a unique organization committed to "the expression and nurturing of the creativity in all of us"
• Chippewa Nature Center- over 1,000 acres, 14 miles of trails and a modern visitor's center with plenty of exhibits and activities
• Creative Spirit Center - writing, acting, dancing, singing, painting, playing...it's all here
• Dow Gardens - this beautiful 110-acre garden can be enjoyed year round 
• Grace A. Dow Memorial Library - serving informational, educational and cultural needs of the community
• Midland Center for the Arts -  a wonderful place to see local & national theater, art and science exhibits
• Midland Mall - over 70 stores and eateries plus special events held throughout the year
• Midland County Fairgrounds - there's always something happening at the Fairgrounds!

You can also enjoy the 520-acre City Forest year round with its miles of quiet wooded hiking trails, plus groomed trails for cross-country skiing. The busy Riverfront area boasts a seasonal farmers' market, quiet parks, trails, playgrounds, concerts, a professionally designed 15,000 square foot skateboard park and the Tridge, our most famous landmark. Jog, cycle, roller-blade or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail - 22 miles (and growing!) of paved trail starting at the Tridge.
